Purchase of nine prime retail including a BHS department store

We purchased the ground lease of nine prime retail units including the BHS Department store on King Street from East Ayrshire Council.

We subsequently bought in the freehold interest of eight of the retail units and sold our leasehold interest in the BHS unit.

Following further asset management including lease renewals and rent reviews we sold the individual retail units to a variety of private investors.

This represented our fourth project in Kilmarnock.
