Mixed-use scheme comprising 30,000 sq ft Mecca Bingo, Health Centre and 120 residential units

This 9 acre site on the edge of Paisley town centre had previously been under missive to another developer who was unable to unlock the technical challenges presented by the site. The site was specifically brought to us given our reputation for extracting value from challenging sites.

A comprehensive remediation and flood prevention package of works was undertaken and planning consent was secured for 120 residential units, a 30,000 sq ft bingo facility which was pre-let to Mecca Bingo and a 16,000 sq ft pharmacy and health centre sold to Sapphire Healthcare.

The site has now been comprehensively developed out and an overgrown contaminated and flood prone site has now been returned to active beneficial use.

The residential component was sold to Carvill Homes and the completed Mecca Bingo unit to an institutional investor at 5.5%.
